Today's theme is how to use tags.
Most applications that deal with information such as Evernote have tag feature, so everyone knows what tag feature is very well. In Dreamscope, Tags are added to a task. Tags help you organize tasks by various points of views and access the task you want to see quickly. I'm going to introduce very useful tagging feature of Dreamscope here.
1. Sort tags and hierarchize tags
Tags can be sorted by drag-and-drop and hierarchized.
By clicking the parent tag, you can see tasks with not only parent tag but also child tags under the parent tag. In the example shown below, "Places" is selected and tasks with "Places", "Train", "Office" or "Home" are displayed.
2. Filter by tags
Tag filter feature is in the sub-toolbar. By clicking "Filter by tag", you can see a list of tags that currently displayed tasks have. After selecting a tag from the list, only tasks with the tag will be shown on the screen.
3. Autocomplete tags
You can add tags to a task in the task edit window. And then, tag autocomplete feature is available and existing tags are shown as options.
4. Add tags to tasks all at once
There will be the case that you want to add tags to many tasks all at once. If you want to do so, select tasks while holding down the Shift key or the Ctrl key (the Command key in Mac) and drag and drop them on the tag you want to add.
I hope you to experience the efficient and comfortable task management by using Dreamscope's tag feature.
